The Rad Little Library is a project created by Stephanie Birch. It began in Willimantic, Connecticut in 2023 and has since relocated to Urbana, Illinois.
Stephanie is a PhD student in the Department of History at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She spent 8 years working as an academic librarian, specializing in Black Studies. She is a founding member of the Critical Race Theory Collective (CRTc), a cohort of scholar-activists working to cultivate interdisciplinary knowledge across borders.
